Tonight, I tuned in to the streaming broadcast of the Unify Global Drum Circle pounding like a giant's heartbeat from the Black Rock City at Burning Man. There were leaders and chiefs, singers and activists, warriors and peace-makers who spoke and prayed and howled together. Of course, I could only imagine the scene from where I lay in my rooftop hammock. As I stared into the dusk dimming sky with a faint grin on my lips, I watched the clouds tell stories of swimming dolphins and soaring angels. Chills rose like hillsides on my skin as drums beat with the passing time.
